Traditional Worship

Sunday morning worship is a traditional service generally following the Lectionary, with traditional liturgy complimented by contemporary readings, and time-honored hymns as well as more contemporary pieces. The Sacrament of Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month and children are encouraged to participate in the worship service.

Worship at Home

Each Sunday, on our Facebook Page @FPCValdosta, we will go live at 10:55 a.m., five minutes before worship starts. We encourage you to use this time to fellowship in the comments. After the service, videos are uploaded and available for viewing at your convenience.

Contemplative Worship

A Contemplative Service is offered on the first Friday of each month. Worship begins with instrumental music that sets the tone for the evening. Moments of silence are woven throughout the service as well as a variety of readings and prayers, Lectio Divina of Scripture, Taize-style chants, hands on prayer practices, and Holy Communion. The First Friday Contemplative Service is a deeply moving experience for our church and the wider community.
