MUSIC PROGRAM
We at First Presbyterian believe that music is both an expression of our faith, and an instrument of spiritual growth. Recognizing the power of music to stir the emotions and direct the mind, we believe in its importance in worship and the total mission of the church. Opportunities for involvement in this special form of ministry are provided through involvement in one of our choirs:
CHANCEL CHOIR
Open to youth and adults, the choir regularly sings at Sunday worship services and provides special
programs at Christmas and Easter. The Chancel Choir usually rehearses on Wednesday evenings.
JOYFUL RINGERS HANDBELL CHOIR
Both youth and adults share in the leadership of worship through this special instrumental choir.
CHILDREN'S MUSIC PROGRAM
Our youngest members explore the beauty and joy of music as part of their faith story during our weekly Children's Church. The Children's Church at First Presbyterian is offered each Sunday morning following the Children's Message in the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service.
